The Kirkenes Conference will be a digital event this year, published on the 17th of February at 12.30. The conference will be published also with Russian and English translations.
The 2021 Conference will be a prerecorded conference, where we have performed interviews in Oslo and Kirkenes. In addition some of the speakers have recorded their own contribution to the conference.

We have shortened the program of this years conference to make it better suited for digital medias. We have focused on three main topics.
- The geopolitical Barents Region, with contribution from all four Foreign Ministers of the Barents Region and the President of the Norwegian Sami Parliament
- Security policy in the north, with contribution from the Norwegian Army General and several researchers
- The importance of people-to-people-cooperation in the Barents Region, with special guests from the Barents Hockey League
The winner of the Thorvald Stoltenberg Award, will also be announced in the digital conference.
