The Kirkenes Conference will be held on the 23rd and 24th of February 2022. We plan on hosting a close to normal conference, but with a high focus on covid 19 restrictions.
The registration is divided in a conference fee and a registration to the evening dinner on Wednesday evening. In addition it is possible to book rooms at Scandic or Thon hotels. There is a limited amount of rooms available, so if you need accommodation you should register as soon as possible.
Covid 19 restrictions
Sadly the number of covid 19 cases in Norway have had a rapid growth over the last weeks. In Kirkenes the number of cases are still low, but this could change fast and we follow the same restrictions as the rest of Norway. We are planning for different scenarios for the Kirkenes Conference, depending on the national and local covid 19 restrictions that may be active in the end of February.
However, our main goal is to invite you all to a physical conference in Kirkenes, with an audience in the conference hall at Thon Hotel Kirkenes and interesting speakers on stage. Equally important to an interesting and relevant program is the conference arena as a meeting place. That is why we believe that hosting a physical conference is very important for all participants.
A consequence could be that we have to reduce the number of people in the conference hall. If you want to be certain of a seat at the conference when it opens on the 23rd of February, do not postpone your registration to the conference.
Digital conference
Since last year we have been planning to lift the quality of our digital conference. In cooperation with our conference partner Vican we will invite online participant to a virtual conference room, where you can meet other digital participant, vie stands and of course follow all the speakers and debates.
If you are unable to be present in Kirkenes you can register for the digitalt conference by following the same registration link as for the physical conference.
