Sami President, Aili Keskitalo, will attend the Kirkenes Conference 2020. We look forward to hearing her input on the Arctic Strategy.
Aili Keskitalo became Sámi President of the Norwegian Sami Parliament in 2017. She’s previously been Sámi President for two periods, first from 2005 to 2007, and again from 2013 to 2017. Keskitalo became party leader for the Norwegian Sami National Assembly for the first time in 2003, and has been a representative at the Sami Parliament since 2005. Language and education are issues that are important to Keskitalo.
Keskitalo holds an important voice in the debate surrounding the Arctic Strategy. We look forward to hear her inputs on the topic.
